My paper is online; when will it be published?
All papers that appear online are considered published. The date it appears online is the definitive publication date. Page charges apply for both online and print versions of the journal.
What happen if I do not pay my page charge?
Payment of page charge is not a condition of publication; editorial acceptance of a paper is unaffected by payment or nonpayment. But if you do not pay the cover charge, your paper will appear on TIGERA website as accepted in the assigned issue, but will not appear in the print version of the journal. It also will not be included in the online volume available to subscribers.
Why do you charge a page charge?
Printing charges are very high in the States. The costs of maintaining and managing the journal are also very high. Here are examples of what other journals charge; we only charge a fraction (less than 10%) of what they charge:

How much is the page charge?
We only charge a flat page charge of 92€ per article, plus 18€ per co-author. For papers, longer than 12 pages, there is 24€ charge per page.
Often, authors who cannot afford it are approved to pay a fraction of those fees and we accept that through a waiver request. Authors have to fill out the appropriate page charge waiver form available of the journal website.
Can we receive a waiver for our article's charges?
You should apply for waiver of page charges and return your application with your proofs. Payment of page charge is not a condition of publication; editorial acceptance of a paper is unaffected by payment or nonpayment.
We however, cannot include your paper in the printed version of the journal, if this waiver is not approved by TIGERA-USA. Your paper will however show among accepted papers for its assigned issue, on TIGERA websites, but no further distribution or inclusion in our online databases will take place.
Can I make another correction to my article?
Please contact the editing staff to see if that is possible. You will need to check the status of your paper with us, but if it is soon after you returned your first corrections, the answer may be affirmative. You should ensure that you check your proofs very carefully to avoid such a situation. A page charge may apply for major changes.
I have just seen my article published on the TIGERA website and have detected an error; can it be changed?
Please contact journal editing staff, at collarj@wcsu.edu, to see if this is possible. A page charge may apply for major changes.
Why have changes been made to my article after it was accepted?
All papers are subject to copyediting after acceptance to ensure that articles conform to journal style, there are no spelling or grammatical errors, for internal consistency.
How do I make changes to the proof I received from the journal editing staff?
You will need Adobe Reader to open your PDF proofs – this software is freely available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/. You can make changes by printing out the PDF file, scanning the edited pages, and emailing them back to us, or if you have Adobe Acrobat, you can electronically mark your corrections and e-mail the edited PDF file back to us.
When do you need my proofs back?
We require proof corrections to be returned within one week.
I was unable to return proofs on time, what do I do?
You have to contact the editing staff, as the journal may be already published. You should always return your proofs on time, even when you missed the deadline. In any way, you should talk to the editing staff to arrange for a solution.
When do I know my paper has been accepted? Do I immediately receive an official letter of acceptance?
You should receive a letter of acceptance from the Editors of the journal when your paper is accepted. You may check the status of your paper by emailing the Editor-In-Chief.
Images
Images must be at a minimum resolution of 600 dots per inch (dpi) for line drawings (black and white) and combinations, and 300 dpi for color or grayscale. Please ensure that the prepared electronic image files print at a legible size and are of a high quality for publication.
Will I receive any free off-prints?
All authors who paid the page charge will receive free off-prints, one per co-author. Authors will receive, however, access to the online version of their articles, for a period of one year.
When will I receive online access to my article?
All co-authors will receive information on how to access their online papers once they are published.
When will I receive my paper offprints?
If applicable, offprints are normally mailed to you within 4 to 6 weeks after print publication. If you are outside the USA, pre-paid mailing charges will apply. Contact the editing staff to have further information.
How do I order off-prints/reprints?
Prepayment is required for any out of the USA order of off-prints. You will receive an off-print order form with your PDF page proofs. You should complete this and email it back with your corrections. This form can also be downloaded from the journal website.
How much do I pay for off-prints and reprints?
The prices for off-prints will be stated on the offprint form. Off-prints are ordered before publication of an article, and are printed are the same time as the issue. Reprints are printed after publication and will incur 30% additional costs.
Where are my off-prints?
You should receive your ordered off-prints 6 weeks after publication of the journal.
What is a double blind review?
In a double-blind review process the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed. There is evidence that referees are more critical when they are unaware of the authors’ identities.
