James Lawler:
Dr. James P. Lawler is chair of the TIGERA 2008 Conference.  Dr. Lawler is associate professor of information systems, at the Ivan G. Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University, in New York City, USA.  He has a comprehensive background of 30+ years of practitioner experience in customer relationship management (CRM), e-Business and e-Learning methodologies, strategies, and technologies in the financial services industry, where he was a strategic planner in the office of the chairman at Bankers Trust Company, Vice President of executive information systems at Merrill Lynch, and a strategist in emerging technologies at AXA Financial-Equitable, on Wall Street.  He is the principal author of the current Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA): Strategy, Methodology, and Technology, published by the Taylor & Francis Group, Ltd. in New York City, from which presentations and symposiums on the principles of the text were awarded the Best Papers of the information systems education (ISECON) and information for operations research and management sciences (INFORMS) conferences in the USA.  Professor Lawler was recently featured as an innovator in experiential learning in global services science on national television in the USA.  Dr. Lawler holds a D.P.S. in Computing Studies and an M.B.A. in Finance from Pace University and a B.B.A. in Business Management from St. Francis College in New York City.
